Our approach
We build systems that operate in the real world, often in difficult environments. That mindset carries into how we think about ESG: practical actions, measurable improvements, and honest boundaries.
Our sustainability and governance approach is designed to support long-term reliability for customers and responsible operations for our business.
Environmental responsibility
Hardware and network deployments create real environmental impact. We aim to reduce waste through robust design, longer device life, and serviceability. Where battery-powered devices are required, we engineer power discipline to reduce replacements and unnecessary maintenance.
We also consider packaging, logistics, and end-of-life handling. Where feasible, we prefer suppliers who can provide evidence of responsible practices and we avoid unnecessary shipments and rework by engineering correctly upfront.
Social responsibility
Our work touches operational environments where trust matters. We handle customer and operational data with a security-first approach, and we design systems that reduce risk rather than create it.
We value clear communication, fair dealing, and professional delivery. Where we engage contractors or suppliers, we expect safe working practices and respect for workers’ rights.
Governance
Governance prevents slow drift into fragile outcomes. We emphasise security by design, controlled access, auditability where appropriate, and clear accountability for decisions that affect customers.
We also expect ethical conduct in procurement and delivery. If a supplier relationship creates unacceptable risk, we would rather change course than accept fragile shortcuts.
How we improve
We treat ESG as an iterative programme. As the business scales, we strengthen policies, supplier expectations, and internal reporting. The objective is a responsible operating model that supports reliability for customers and a sustainable footprint over the long term.
